Students are required to have a laptop with a current version Matlab. MATLAB is now available at no cost to Students under the UMaine Licensing agreement! Just download the software from IT. If you do wish to purchase MATLAB, the Matlab and Simulink Student Suite has the capabilities that we will be using in this class. Students should install their own copy, and may be required to use the software on exams. Assignments may require the use of Matlab, Simulink, the "DSP System Toolbox", the "Signal Processing Toolbox", or the "Symbolic Math Toolbox". Purchase of the entire Matlab and Simulink Student Suite is strongly recommended. |
