Current Students Alumi
Ali Shareef. Ph.D. Student. He got his bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University in 2005, and his M.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Maine in 2008. He continue his Ph.D. study at University of Maine. His M.S thesis focuses on Tracking in Wireless Sensor Networks. His Ph.D. dissertation topic is energy-efficient cross-layer routing in wireless sensor network. He was a National Science Foundation GK-12 Sensors fellow. Dr. Qiang Zou was a post-doc in 2011 in our research group. After the post-doc training, he joined Southwest University in China as associate professor.
Jianhui Yue, Ph.D. student. He got his master degree in Computer Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. He received Best Paper Award from IEEE Cluster'07. His dissertation topic is energy-efficient memory systems. Nathan Bourgoin, M.S. in Computer Engineering. He got his bachelor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maine in 2008. He is from Maine. He is co-advised with Dr. Bruce Segee. Nate is now with Microwoft.
Zhao Cai, PhD. Student. He got his master degree in Computer Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. His dissertation focuses on innovative file systems. Jason Withee, M.S. in Computer Engineering. He got his bachelor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maine in 2008. He is from Maine. He is co-advised with Dr. Bruce Segee. Jason is now with Insight Technology.
Matt Edwards, Master Student. He got his bacher degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Maine in 2010. He is from Maine. His thesis focus is smart grdis. Lin Lin, M.S. in Computer Engineering. He is frm Maine. His master thesis title is "Hot Random Off-loading: A Hybrid Storage System with Dynamic Data Migration".
    Robert England, MS in Computer Engineering. He is from Maine. His project topic is GPU-accelerated interactive supercomputing.
